How did Rikin Patel feel before laser eye surgery?

Well, it’s just the constant hassle of messing around with either glasses or contact lenses. I mean, I functioned, and it was fine. I could do what I needed to do, but there were lots of little things that it just got in the way. So laser surgery seemed like a really natural way to get rid of that minor inconvenience. It’s just those little things that make such a big difference. I enjoy being outdoors, I like swimming, I like going in the sea and being able to see back to the beach and see everything on the beach clearly. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but it makes such a difference.

It really is a different world not having to think about glasses, contact lenses, something loose, falling out in the sea and all that sort of stuff.

So, yeah, I mean, for me it was just the little stuff. I don’t rely on not wearing glasses or contact lenses for anything, but even so, I can’t complain.
