Laser Eye Surgery
Experience high definition vision. Affordable, convenient and the most commonly performed procedure to get rid of the inconvenience of glasses and contact lenses.
What is laser eye surgery?
With a very precise laser we are able to reshape the superficial part of the eye known as the cornea. This enables the light entering the eye to form a perfect and clear image on the back of the eye giving you excellent vision.
What are the different types of laser eye surgery?
Broadly speaking there are two types of laser, one that treats the surface (LASEK) and one where a flap is created that treats just below the surface (LASIK). Both treatments are very similar and one treatment maybe more suited to a particular individual. One of our expert surgeons will guide you as to which one is more appropriate to you.

Is Laser Eye Surgery Safe?
Yes.
As with all kinds of surgery the process starts with a thorough assessment and management plan devised by a surgeon experienced in this field. Not all patients are suitable and this is key to identifying those patients where other options would be better suited.
What happens during laser eye surgery?
We have devised a three step approach that works within your busy lifestyle
Step 2
Attend our dedicated laser facility to undertake a series of investigations and examinations to determine the health of your eye
Step 3
Have the surgery undertaken by one of our world leading experts and enjoy glasses and contact lens independence
Does laser eye surgery hurt?
At the time of surgery we use very powerful drops to numb the eye so you will only feel a pressure sensation
How long does laser surgery take?
The surgery itself takes about 15-20 minutes but we would need you in the clinic for a minimum of a couple of hours to check everything before and after the surgery is satisfactory before allowing you home.
What happens after laser eye surgery?
You will rapidly be able to enjoy glasses and contact lens free vision. One of our highly skilled specialists will guide you on your recovery pathway and ensure that everything is progressing smoothly. Generally speaking one can get back to most routine activities within a day or two.
