OVER 80,000 PROCEDURES & MORE THAN 22 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF LASER VISION CORRECTION

How long does LASIK take?

09 March 2020

Manek Patel reveals how long the LASIK procedure takes

The procedure itself is quite straightforward. There’ll be two laser machines used. Each one takes about 15 seconds, depending on the prescription. The second laser, which is the Wavefront laser, can take slightly longer, but no more than two minutes for each eye. Actual lasering time is less than a minute with both lasers, and that’s all it requires. The rest of the time is putting the drops, preparing the eyes, and settling down on the bed.

I invite you to take the first step to getting rid of your glasses or your contact lenses. Just book online or give us a call, and we’d be thrilled to help you schedule an initial complimentary consultation. Take the first step today.
