What happens on the day of cataract surgery?
26 November 2019
Romil Patel talks you through the day of your cataract surgery
On the day of cataract surgery, a member of the team will welcome you.
We will dilate your eyes, and check-in with you to make sure that you’re happy to proceed with the procedure.
The actual surgery will take between 15 and 20 minutes.
After that, we’ll give you a cup of tea, make sure that you’re okay and you’ll be home that same day.
If you no longer want to miss out on the life you want, I recommend giving us a call on 020 7521 4672 or contact us to book an appointment at our Moorfields location. Attend the appointment at the hour and time that fits your busy lifestyle. After hours? No problem. We’ll make it work. Let us help you make time for cataract surgery so you can focus on the loves of your life.

When your natural lens becomes cloudy this is called a cataract. Whilst the NHS does a fantastic job of removing your cataract, advances in lens technologies have allowed us privately to offer you a solution to reduce your dependence on both distance and near glasses.
