Patient Stories: Anuradha Arasu (Medical Doctor)

Anuradha Arasu shares the story of her laser eye surgery experience
Before I had laser eye surgery, I was very shortsighted. I would go into coffee shops, and I couldn’t read the menus, and I couldn’t really see the numbers on buses. It was really quite a problem. Now that I’ve had the surgery, I find that my life is just so much easier. It doesn’t slow me down. Before, if I were travelling, I would lose my glasses. I think there would just be lots of catastrophes that would happen because I didn’t have my glasses. Whereas I haven’t thought about it for the last 20 years.
